The books I keep going back to right now

  • The Boy, the mole, the fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy

    • This book is dense with the beauty of what I believe most of us are craving from the human experience: love, forgiveness, and connection.

  • Finding your way in a wild new world by Martha Beck

    • Wordlessness (meditation). Oneness (connection). Imagination (curiosity). Forming (energy).

    • Martha has a playful way of writing and storytelling that brings lightness and humor to these practices.

  • Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza

    • This book was way over my head when I first opened it, and it still intrigued me. I’ve dipped into it with more earnest this past year and have found synchronicities in the information that I’m seeking. Heart coherence, connection. Pineal gland, third eye, changing the perception of our bodies and minds using meditation. Visualization. What I find interesting about this book is the scientific studies they’re doing on the effects of these practices.

  • Intimate Conversations with the Divine by Caroline Myss

    • Caroline writes letters to God and answers them with grace. Mercy, we are all worthy of it.

  • Radical Wholeness by Philip Shepherd

    • A study on presence from an academic perspective. Presence. Presence. Presence. Philip highlights how the stories we tell ourselves are clouding our connection to the present moment. He also provides guidance on how to embrace presence with grace and harmony.

  • Sacred Spaces by Susan D. Fay, PhD

    • This book has been super exciting for me, it combines my yoga and meditation practices with my passion for being with horses. Presence is at the heart of it. She talks a lot about our energy and visualization, as well.
